Held in conjunction with Future Artillery Middle East 2009 event

Developing advanced capabilities for the combat soldier to enhance response and operational efficiency

As modern battlefields continue to become more multifaceted and lethal, and armies have to face non-traditional combatant forces, nations are trying to build up “soldier modernization programmes” that seek to equip the dismounted soldier with every conceivable piece of electro-optical equipment to enhance their response and operational efficiency. However, over-equipping the soldier is too costly and may prove to be counter-productive.

Soldier Modernisation Middle East 2009 will discuss the proven strategies, the select tools and the latest cutting-edge technology necessary to develop advanced capabilities for the combat soldier through highlighting key findings from Europe, USA, Asia and the Middle East.

The highly comprehensive agenda will also discuss the lessons learnt and highlight the advanced systems and components in five segments: C4I, lethality, mobility, survivability, and sustainability.

You can also look forward to receiving onsite demonstrations from exhibitors showcasing their latest products and solutions including head-borne system, night vision, hand held devices and digitised rifle etc at our exclusive product showcase.
